Jen is making HERStory for Explorathon

For a look behind the scenes of the Caliber project, check out this great video. Researcher Jen Newton takes us on a trip to the North of Scotland to collect psyllids from carrot fields. These insects can carry the Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum (Lso) bacterium between plants, spreading disease.

The video was for Explorathon, a festival which celebrates research happening in Scotland. As part of the festival, organisers post videos from 9 inspiring female researchers tagged #HERStoryMakers and then invite the audience to vote for their favourites. You can see the other entries here.
