New Bacterial Tree Disease Factsheets

The BAC-STOP project have created a set of easy to read factsheets on woodland tree diseases. Bacteria belonging to the genus Brenneria are responsible for causing Acture Oak Decline and a range of cankers, wilts and necroses on willow, alder and walnut.

The fact sheets cover the bacteria and host species, distribution and occurance of the disease. They also provide both text descriptions and photographs of symptoms. Finally, they provide advice on control measures and whether quarantine is required.
